This sounds like fun!
I considered using up some partial balls of size 10 thread, mainly because I can easily imagine using all the different flowers together, in that scale-- but this would essentially be like starting a doily every day, and the first few, fiddly rounds of a doily are usually my least favorite part-- so I’m going to take the plunge and use scrap balls of acrylic yarn (aran/worsted weight) and just hope I can figure out what to do with them all, at the end of the year.
I improvised my own pattern for Day 2, because I didn’t want to make two Day 1 flowers.
I decided to call this project done, though I still need to make something out of the flowers I actually completed.
Obviously, I didn’t make much more than just a month’s worth of flowers-- not because I didn’t enjoy making them, but because I couldn’t think of much to do with them once they were crocheted (and didn’t want to use thread to make smaller flowers that I could more easily have used).
I’m planning to make a pillow cover with what I have. Eventually… ;)
While rearranging my craft space, I came across these and had to admit that I don’t want to spend precious time making something from them!
I had fun crocheting them. They’ve served their purpose for me. Now I’ll put them in a bag and add them to my next donation to the charity shop. Maybe someone else can find a use for them.
