This is such a pretty, lacy doily! It has something of the look of frost or a snowflake-- especially worked in white thread.

However, working in the white thread was, well, a little boring, after the more exciting, variegated Alize Miss Batik. It’s a trade-off.

This has taken me a while to finish, but I don’t think it was an especially difficult doily, by this designer’s standards. It’s still complex, of course, but I don’t remember any rounds giving me particular trouble, as sometimes can happen.

I had 25 grams of thread left over, which is a significant amount. If this skein started off at the labeled size, I only used two-thirds of the skein (about 50 grams).
