There’s beautiful texture on this one, as in so many of this designer’s doily patterns! The center looks very floral to me (maybe in part because of the pale carnation pink).

It helps if you like making popcorn stitches, because there are lot of them in the central medallion of the doily.

The small special bullion stitches were actually kind of fun (round 19), though I’m feeling a little nervous about round 21, which has 120 of them! (!!!) However, thanks to a helpful tip on round 20 (to keep the sc and ch-1 on the loose side), I’m hopeful.

My fp-dtr6tog could have been executed a little more skillfully, but I think that they’re starting to disappear into the doily a bit (which is good). Blocking might help, too.
