I had roughly half a skein left over from working “Wendy” from this skein of thread, so I decided to make another one!

I was feeling a little worried I might run out in the last round or two, so I crocheted the center of the doily in a remnant of another thread-- just the closest color match I could find in my scrap jar. The pink is more salmony than the pink in the colorway, but I think it’ll look alright. (Besides, it’s pretty common that you rarely see the center of a doily, because there’s something covering it, when it’s “in use”.)

I almost had enough Miss Batik (after making the center in salmon)! I ran out at the very last couple of repeats of the last round, so had to switch to a pink that I think matches pretty well. (It’s a better match than the salmon, so I should’ve used it for the center, too, but the salmon coordinates with the colorway, even if it doesn’t match. The whole thing has a bit of a bohemian look, so I think it works.)
