Well, as with EVERY Estonian knit I have done, I have pulled this out and started over about 5x now. I have decided that even though I have never done it before, I will use a lifeline for this one. The pattern is a bit difficult to get used to and I keep getting my count off. However, I love the results of these SOOOO much I can’t just not do them. They are a challenge, but worth the effort.

After multiple starts and stops and using the lifeline, I finally decided to use stitch markers between every repeat. I’ve done this before, and not sure why it took me so long to remember to do it again. However, those markers really help and I am finally on the 5th repeat of the 14 main body repeats. No nupps through the center, which makes life easier. Excited it is coming along so well now.

8/17/14 - finished everything but blocking! So happy with how it turned out. Well always use markers from now on.
