I used the blue and white star “Favorite Findings” from Jo-Ann’s for the buttons and I found a perfect iron on Navy with Red/White trim Anchor at Hobby Lobby which I will be sewing in place.

Pattern is very simple - no new techniques this time with the exception of starting the skirt over the two layers at the uhmm… I know there is a word for it but it escapes me now, but the two layers where the buttons/buttonholes go together.

Matching blue dress for a friend and I decided these wouldn’t be complete without sailor’s hats. Found a pattern designed by Adrienne Engar.
