In order for the stitch count to be correct I had to modify the sole portion of the pattern. New sole directions are as follows:

Ch 13

Rnd 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each of next 5 ch, 1 hdc in each of next 5 ch, 5 hdc in last ch. Working along opposite side of ch, 1 hdc in each of next 5 ch, 1 sc in each of the next 5 ch, 2 sc in last ch. Join with a ss in the top of first sc.

Rnd 2: 3 ch, 2 dc in base of ss, 2 dc in next 2 sts, 1 dc in each of next 9 st, 2 dc in each of the next 6 sts; 1 dc in each of next 9 sts, 2 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in first/last st, join with ss in top of first ch-3 (43 sts)

Rnd 3: 3 ch, 1 dc in base of ss, 1 dc in next 17 sts, * 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st,; repeat between * 2 more times, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next 16 sts, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in last st, join with ss in top of first ch 3, Fasten off (49 sts).
