Modified pattern so that CC in Rows 26-31 are stockinette. I think these stitches look best in stockinette, although later I do use garter stitch which adds nice detail as the shawl design progresses.

N.B. make sure to twist the yarn intarsia style at the start of the shawl when the color changes mid-row.

4-5-16 - Starting the Swedish Dot pattern - creates a nice texture/detail element.

4-8-16 Starting the double rib portion of the ribbing. I’m using approximately 3 gr per row at this point. I’ll probably hold back about 10 grams for the BO as I want to end the shawl in the CC.

BO at start of row 172 because I thought the border was just right and in balance for overall shawl.

Blocking measurements 74” x 21.“
