6/29- Finished, edging is grafted closed…now I have to decide if I want to dye it, or leave it natural…then block it!

5/31-- Yup. I’m adding the edging. This shawl certainly stunning, the edging makes it that much so!

I’m adding the edging, using the method from Victorian Lace. The thought of picking up over 200 stitches scared me straight, so I’m glad I have the experience of adding edgings!

Pattern notes from me:
I don’t know why more folks aren’t in love with the lace patterns from Two Old Bags. The charts for this one are awesome, though I found myself using the written-out directions (my eyes are too bad for small charts, and to enlarge it--well, I would have knit from a chart the size of a bedsheet!)

With that being said, this shawl looks intricate and difficult. But, with the assistance of a few stitch markers and a row counter, it’s not so daunting after all!
