ad an opportunity to create this for the Birmingham Museum of Art for their Art on the Rocks event. It was the last Art on the Rocks event of the year and it was in conjunction with the Andy Warhol and Cars exhibit. I almost turned this down for fear that I would not have time to complete it…the day after I sort of declined, my fortune cookie read, “Now is the time to set your sights high and go for it”…so I did! I was immediately inspired by The Rainbow Fish for some reason, I think when I looked at the cute little Smart Car, I saw the face in front and thought it would be so cute. This is what I came up with. It ended up on the front page of the Birmingham Newspaper to my surprise (9.6.12).
