Earflap Hat by Chronicles of the Christian Mom

This started with earflaps, then my son and I both decided it looked better without, having the face on it. I had never made a crochet hat before so this pattern by shutterbugettewas super helpful!

The face was a little tricky, the eyebrows, nose and mouth were stitched and the eyes were crocheted in rounds and shaped.
