The pattern is easy and very straight forward. The video provided is very helpful. You will need to watch/keep track of your increases because the stitches won’t drop at the kfb increases (yes I did that my first attempt). Looking back, I probably could have done the pattern exactly as written and been okay with a slightly big cowl. Attempted a 27 stitch CO as I really wanted to use the yarn we had and my gauge was pretty off. I used MeykeE’s instructions for the first part of the increase (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MeykeE/dragon-wing-cowl) and tweaked the second part. It’s not perfect because of my mistake, but still worked.
