CO 42 with US 5. Gauge is good, but these seem very large. Experimenting with needle sizes and CO.

Reduced cast on to 36 sts.

Provisional cast on and knit the first 9 rounds per pattern. Knit cast on stitches together with live stitches before decrease round to form the hem.

Used m1l and m1r for thumb gusset.

Picked up additional stitches for thumb.
