Notes

Started this one with 60 stitches and a long tail cast-on.

Okay, so I learned the hard way that I should have used a lifeline with this project. I get easily distracted, as I multitask while knitting. So, I lost track of my pattern, and realized my mistake about 10 rows later. I had to choose between living with the visible pattern error, or ripping it out.

I decided to try my first-ever “lifeline after the fact.” It worked pretty well! That row does look a bit wonky, but not nearly as bad as the mistake. It took me a few hours, but it was worth it in the end.

Having learned my lesson, I have now installed a lifeline into row 107, the last RS row of the repeat. If I mess up again, at least I’ll only need to rip out my repeat section.

I also learned that one ball of this yarn will cover the first section and one repeat section of the pattern.
At row 108, it measures 23 inches.

Almost finished with my second ball of yarn. I’m thinking this one is about 2/3-3/4 complete. New photo shows one of my beautiful lifelines joy

Overall, I’m pleased with the way this turned out. The finished project measures 7” X 73”
