Knitting along with Rebecca for Ravellenic Games 2021.
Got gauge on Size 7.
Really love the tonal pink, beautiful stitch definition, and soft squishy feel of the yarn. Definitely one of my favorites of all time.
Ordered more yarn online, because I only had one skein to begin.
Cast on for size 43¼“
Pattern flows really well after a few rows. Just remember to slip marker to right when row starts with cdd.
Received the new skeins and it looks a bit lighter than my original skein. Wondering if I should start over with new skeins that match closely.
So, I decided to frog and start over with new skeins.
Back up to round 31, much faster second time around.
Did back shaping (first time doing German short rows). This video tutorial helped a lot (https://youtu.be/GMWoyFwp8uM). German short rows explanation starts around 15 minutes. (The designer is same, maybe I’ll make the Undulating Lines Pullover in the future, also)
Ready to divide for sleeves. Dropped a stitch in the last row of yoke pattern, but once I found it, it was relatively easy fix - phew!!
Divided stitches for sleeves and body…. Should be smooth sailing from now!
Body done, starting on sleeves. Don’t think I’ll finish in time, but so glad that I tried something new and made so much progress! Definitely a confidence booster!!!
Finished the sleeves.
Washed and blocked.
Quite proud of this and really enjoyed the knit!
