Mommy wanted the fox hood. Daddy wanted a coyote hood…after all, Little Man’s name IS Wylee (like Wylie Coyote…get it?). So since Mommy picked the pattern, Daddy got to pick the colors….and it’s made with love by Grandma!

Process notes:
1 strand tan + 1 strand med. grey + 2 strands lt. grey (for mottled coyote fur)
4 strands dk brown for stripe and around ears
1 strand white chenille inside ears (Had planned on using 3 strands white + 1 strand white fun fur, but it was just too thick. The chenille was soft and allowed the white to fold in better). Pattern calls for 2 buttons to hold the neck edge down, but I liked how this button looked so went with it instead.

Finished notes: Only thing I’d do differently is to use 3 strands instead of 4. This thing is SUPER thick and cushy though, so I guess that means the little coyote boy will be plenty warm this winter!!!
