Using a lot of wool and natural fiber in hopes that it will felt a bit when washed.

Gotta get this done. My fingers are breaking out due to sensitivities to natural fibers like wool and mohair.

05-04-2020

Lessons learned from this one. The NY Yarn did not play well with the other fibers once the rug was washed. The yarn shredded easily and clogged the dryer with fluff. Should be okay if this rug gets used for extra padding in chairs or a kneeling pad

09-05-2021 Sad Ending

I was using this rug all folded up and as a foot rest in my painting room. Today I picked it up and a bunch -- a whole lot of -- mouse droppings fell out. Too many to wash out. I guess that’s why I wasn’t seeing any mice -- they were hanging out in the rug
