I used scrap yarn for this project.

Had real difficulty with the head. It turned out Way Way too large. I ended cutting off about 12 rows of knitting for the head, then drawing it up and covering with yarn for hair, but it did not turn out as pictured in Mr. Dart’s photos since the head I made was rounded, unlike his that was more oval shaped. Overall, I was not pleased with this one. I may make another head (for an African American doll) just to see what I did incorrectly.

All yarn was approximately the same weight, except for the dark pink which I held double. The fingers and feet were genius. Just not pleased with her face. The little overalls turned out well; used beads for the buttons and overlaid with embroidery floss.
