Mom Jackie is expecting in June 2013. She is a big Denver Broncos fan and loves all things in Bronco colors of blue and orange. The yarn is hand dyed: 75% Super wash, 25% nylon. It arrived from New Zealand in the cutest orange box with flaps to open.

This yarn was perfect because it is in a pretty shade of blue/purple with the orange, just great for a new little Bronco fan.

The pattern is well written and gives so many sizes! I used the 6-12 mo. size in fingering weight yarn, and it is looking like it will be about a size 1 yr. when finished since I used a size 5 needle. Blue and orange buttons will finish this off, along with a grosgrain ribbon to put behind the button band for stabilization of buttons. Used the Knitmore Girls tutorial for button bands.

Finished knitting on 4/4/13, now for the button bands.
