Yes, I know, I’ve knitted another westknits design for my pup!

This is definitely not scaled down like Laser’s daybreak shawl. I think the gauge is about the same as the pattern. I just cast on fewer stitches, did ribbing for an inch, and only worked 3 rows of cables. There’s no button either, because he sleeps approximately 85% of the time and something chunky on the front might be uncomfortable.

(My apologies for the ridiculous floral couch in the pictures. Like I said, Laser sleeps 85% of the day and I didn’t want to make him get up and move.)

The yardage is just a guess, I’ll weigh the cowl later to find out how much I actually used.
