Combined a 60” needle with a 48” needle, still had to augment them with a length of wire in between.

I have no idea how I’m going to block this thing, but it sure was fun! I noticed that the number of rows between the final increase and the bind-off was only 10, when the number of rows between increases had been going up by 1, and was up to 14 prior to the final increase. So I changed mine from 10 to 15, which added quite a bit more work, but I think was worthwhile for the integrity of the pattern.

The biggest pain point was finding/engineering a circular needle big enough to hold all of it at the end there. If I do this pattern again, I’ll need a better solution.

Used Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind-off as suggested by another person who used this pattern. I’ll never go back to a basic cast-off again!
