Making the size 5/6 slippers with this yarn giving me a gauge of 3x3, to get the right size for my foot.

After frogging the first attempt for being too large, (my math was wrong the first time which is why I checked gauge) I made a slipper the correct size (I’m an 8.5) however, I miscounted somewhere, I think during the double crochet decreases, I was not sure if I was decreasing over 10 stitches, or doing 10 decreases. I did 10 decreases but it messed up the count for the second part, so I know there’s a miscount somewhere in the slipper. I have more yarn though, so try try again.
