I’m taking a bit of a gamble; I had a ball and half of yarn left over after making The planket neck jumperso I decided that I would use it up straight away instead of adding to the ever-growing stash of yarn that will never be used. I found a simple pattern to show off the yarn and away we go…..the gamble? The pattern says I need 2 ball…..

I made it!! I had a bit of a problem with the neck. I’m fairly sure I should have a gap all the way across the shoulder at one side to do the buttons up but when I picked the stitches up the neck, it didn’t work like that so let’s hope the baby doesn’t have too big a head ;)

I only just had enough yarn. That little pile above the jumper is what I have left.
