Cast on 72sts on 2.25mm.

Decided to try a rolled hem, so I knit 6 rows straight before starting the cuff chart.

Changed to 2.5mm for leg.
As I like my cables to go over-under-over-under, I switched the C4B on row 14 for a C4F.

Changed back to 2.25mm after two pattern repeats. Knit 15rs in pattern, with cables, before starting heel.

Heel flap 27 rows (3/4 heel sts)

Picked up 14sts each side of heel flap.
Decreased to 68sts - 36sts top of foot, 32sts sole.

Scrap that, the heel flap was too short. So I frogged an entire foot and added 9 rows to the heel flap. (Probably over compensating, but I prefer a taller heel over a shorter.)

Heel flap is now 36 rows long, starting heel turn on WS row.
Picked up 18 sts each side.

Fiddled with the length of the foot for ages. Finally settled on 92 rows, including gusset. Foot now measures 23cm, which is exactly my real foot length. Usually I knit my socks with a 22cm foot (negative ease), so I might find these too long when wearing. We’ll see.

Changed the purls in rows 17, 18 and 19 to knits to make a nicer transition to the stockinette toe. knit one row plain (row 20) before starting toe.
