Started these socks on 2.5mm needles, but was afraid they would get too big due to the stretchy fabric, so switched to 2.25mm needles.

Then I decided I didn’t like the way the stitches pulled apart below the triple yarn-over, so I started another sock where I tried crossing them on row 1. You can see the difference in the photo before last where I put them side-by-side.

I liked the look of this a lot better, but due to the crossed stitches the fabric was just that bit less stretchy and I found the sock was getting just a bit to tight for comfort on 2.25mm.

So I started again on 2.5mm.

By then I was a bit burned-out by this project, other yarns were starting to call to me, so I was a bit slow in finishing them.
