Cast on! Used the YouTube link Andrea provided to work out the tubular cast-on. Took a couple of tries, but totally worth the effort. Finished the ribbing, and started in-the-round.

Finished the shoulder shaping and started the neckline ribbing. Quick and easy short-rows, very little shaping through the body otherwise

Finished neckline ribbing and bound-off both sides of the neckline. Definitely did not do the Kitchener stitch properly. It looks terrible and isn’t nearly stretchy enough. Can’t figure out why

Attached the shoulders together, three needle stitch worked beautifully this time. Love the raised seam on the shoulders. Picked up stitches for the first sleeve - picked up

Finished 1 sleeve! Finally figured out the Kitchener stitch, when separating purl and knit stitches: “the knit stitches should be passed onto the needle held to the front and the purl stitches to the needle held at the back.”

THANK YOU theclosestknit for this one line in your blog - saved my sleeves and gave me a perfect bind-off.

Completed all of the decreases on sleeve #2. All that’s left is to finish the ribbed wrist, bind off, weave in and block!

Wore it in the mountains on my Thanksgiving camping trip - it was too warm for the 55 degree weather! Wonderfully comfortable for the evenings though
