A wedge-constructed semi circle with a flowing (expanding lace and just enough texture to add depth. (Number of wedges can be increased for a fuller shape if wishful.)
Yardage - my skein was very generous in weight, however adapting to a smaller yardage would be easy as there are rows that can be skipped, and there’s also an early ending point/big short cut.
Another shortcut would be to skip a set, jumping from 112 to 137 and omit the decreases.
(Note the Rav listing has the Woolly Mammoth skeins at 150g, but the ball band/website list it as 200g, and my skein was 234g. I used 215g in this, which works out to about 830m/900y.) In its shortest possible form, I think you could get away with 500/550y by skipping some of the skippable rows and using the early ending.
(Correction to my yardage, if 200g=800y, then 215g=785m/860y).
Alternatively if you have more yardage, you can either work extra wedges, or the edging can be extended if you wish.
Meas: 135x65 (54x25in) after light blocking.
Beads not written in at this stage, but would be easy to add.
The name is something my mind came up with while I wasn’t paying attention - a mashup of corona and corazon. I was listening to an audiobook about heart medications while reading, and also thinking over this article about the impact of extreme kindness.
I’m not normally one for bling, but this is such pretty yarn, and some days sparkle is just right.
The other pics are to explain why I’m knitting slower atm - J is building a room onto the side of the house himself and I am the official ladder holder, drill passer, spirit level watcher, and general dogsbody. But hey, I got to dance a jig on the roof! :D (And part of this space will mean I can move my office out of my 5 year old’s bedroom.. He’s evicting me. :/ )
