My standard two at a time, toe up, 56 st cast on with a german short row heel and Mina Philipps mini heel flap. Increased sts as I worked my way up the calf for a total of 76 by the time I bound off. The sock goes up to just under the knee.

I made these for my daughter, who loves zombies and vampires. The color way has small spots of red, so I slipped a stitch here and there to make it look like a drop of blood.
