Ladybug Notes

This is another shawl I’d recommend to anyone who wanted to learn lace. It’s quite attractive, is an easy start, so you can get up your courage, and the lace won’t drive you up the wall. I do strongly recommend stitch markers at each lace repeat, though.

I added a repeat of Chart A to make it bigger and blocked it pretty aggressively. Finished measurements are 64”x32” instead of the 51x21 in the pattern.

This project was also my first use of a salad spinner to get some of the water out of a wet-blocked project. Ya’ll? If you have a lot of small knits like shawls and socks? Totally worth it.
