I saw the video online and desperately felt the need to try it out. It’s hard to get it looking even, I think, but will continue to practice. I don’t have knitting needles that thick, so I’m actually using a stick of a window cleaner thing. It’s about 20 mm in diameter. I’m using the ‘wrong’ yarn I accidentally bought for my c2c gradient blanket: purple-white-brown :)

Update: it is done! Took me long enough to finish it, not because it is a slow stitch, but I couldn’t be bothered to sit on the couch with the window cleaner thing ;)
Will be a late gift for mother’s day :)
