Black and red gradient crescent shawl.
First time crocheting with wool. This stuff is a bit scratchy/rustic, but I still need to wash/block it :) I love the color intensity and long gradients of it though.

Another first: added beads to the edge! I’m replacing all picots by ch+bead+ch+slip stitch, using the method with the small bit of thread and needle to slip the bead over the loop as I work (instead of pre-stringing them). I think this totals up to 38x7+2 (begin and end) = 268 beads, but I did not count :)

It is done, but still needs blocking. I love how the yarn gradient perfectly matches the transitions in the pattern. Pure luck, but it makes me very happy ^^. The first photo is edited to show the color transitions.
