July 25 -- After taking a bit of a knitting hiatus for the busy summer, I picked this back up and finished it this week. I am so happy with how it turned out. I think it’s my favorite FO ever. I love the drape and weight of the rayon/linen blend. I’m sorry that it’s a discontinued yarn, or I’d use it again for another project.

July 5 -- even after letting this sit lonely in its bag on the back of a door for well over a month, I picked it up and started knitting without need of the pattern. One you get the hang of the rhythm of the piece, it’s really intuitive.

April 25-- finished the third ball of yarn. I had originally estimated that I’d use 6 (780yards), but looking at it at its “halfway” point, I think I’ll probably use 7 (900 yards). I’ll be a game time decision, though.

March 26-- cast on and established all 15 columns, then started the first “right curve” pass. I’m so glad I learned how to knit backwards when I figured out entrelac. It is saving me a ton of turning and yarn-tangling.

March 27-- finished first “left curve” pass. This yarn is knitting up really nicely so far. I’m hoping I can keep up the momentum and have a nice spring shawl for myself.
