Notes

This was my first time using jamieson and smith yarn and it’s amazing as I knew it would be. I’m already planning to make another sweater with it.

The pattern is well written and easy to follow. I love all the little details like the dashes of color, and how the cast on matches the garter rib. I also liked the Sunday method for short rows. The only mod I did was to knit the neck longer and doubled it over

I chose to make the size that will fit my hips so there will be about 4.75” positive ease in the bust area. I knit the sleeves first and used them to check my gauge. The sleeves are a little long on me, but I don’t mind. There was a little puckering at the top of the yoke, I didn’t block very aggresivesly. Steam blocking helped eliminate the puckering.

This was also my first time spit splicing! love it! no ends to weave in. yay!
