Cast on according to the pattern. Should I slip the first stitch of each row? How will that affect the carrying of the CC along the side?

Taking back again, this is a very interesting pattern. Lots of counting.

The dark color is difficult to see at times.

Love this. I wish that I could knit more often on this wonderful pattern. I have to count a lot, and it is difficult when social knitting!

I’ll keep going. Quiet time will come when the excitement of summer activity slows down when autumn arrives.

Stitch count slightly adjusted in the last 6 CC increase rows. Both sides the the center stitch are equal going forward.

Ugh. Blocking. The bind off is not stretchy enough

I will use it as is and take it back to the last section and use a stretchier bind off if needed.
