Oh, no. I worked a 2 x 2 rib with US 5 tubular cast on. The pattern calls for 1 x 1 rib.

Will start again tomorrow.

Knit side w&t. Pick up wrap, place on needle and then knit through the back loop. The wrap will be in back of work.
Purl side w&t. Pick up back leg of purl stitch and purl together with the stitch. The wrap will be at back of work.

Had to rip back a few times. I think that I am on the right track now. Ready to try on and separate for the sleeves.

First fitting. Yoke increases are in place.

Ugh. Read the pattern! (When will I learn?) Did not cast on all of the stitches called for in the pattern for the underarm. It’s good that I was working the sleeves before too many rounds of the body of the sweater.

Will rip back again to cast on 11 stitches under the sleeves as per the pattern.

I am working the first sleeve and will work the second before the body.

”Cuff” the sleeves or rip back to make shorter? That is my question.

Shortened the sleeves. Much better. Sleeves measure 15-1/4 “ from underarm seam.

Bust is 45”. Length of the body from the underarm seam to the bottom is 14.” Length from front neckline to bottom of the pullover is 22-1/2.”
