Working in the round. Gauge is 19-20 stitches per inch, depending on where it is located in the “large swatch in the round.” What should I do at this point?
I am going to knit a 44 to accommodate the tighter gauge. looks like according to my calculations, it should work well to knit the size up. 1.08% more stitches needed if knit at a 19.5 stitch gauge.
I hope that this works out!

Started on second cake of yarn. In less than an inch, will separate for the sleeves.

First fitting.
Looks good!

I am going to pick up for the neckline and maybe start the sleeves. I am 200 grams into the project and it was mentioned in the pattern that when one of the balls was finished, the neckline could be done.
I am spit-splicing the yarn. Works well.
March 3, 2025 Timing the Rounds
I was interested in knowing how long it takes to knit one round of this project. 5 minutes and 22 seconds on ChiaoGoo Interchangable metal needles. I have a set of wooden needles. Will time a round with the wooden needles that have the swivel to see if it takes more or less time. I find that I am pushing and adjusting the stitches often.
Stay tuned.
March 9, 2025 Finishing Plans
I decided to knit the sleeves until I reach the cuffs. I then knit the second sleeve until it measures the same as the first. Hold both on waste yarn.
Continue knitting the body until the the point where the ribbing should be. Place on hold.
Soak and block the pullover.
When dry, another fitting to check the finished length of the sleeves and body.
Hopefully I will then find the best length. Blocking changes things!

Change of plans. Blocking added a bit of positive ease, but this pullover just does not work for him. My plan is to knit him a bulky cardigan in the future. He is just not a pullover sweater kind of guy. (slouched at the shoulders?)
I’m keeping this one. A comfy sweatshirt type of pullover for me! Fuller sleeves, drapes well and has positive ease.
Cascade 220 non-superwash is great; great hand, and great price point. If it is still the same base as it was 2018 when I knit the Snowflower Pullover, it does not pill.
The body is finished. The cuffs are in progress.

Weaving in ends. Soak in Eucalan, spin in washer. Lay flat to dry.
March 13, 2025 Finishing Thoughts.
Finished gauge is 19.5 stitches for 4.“ Which is a tighter gauge than the pattern called for.
I decided to keep this pullover for myself. It fits well and is so cozy and comfortable!
