Knitting a tube to work a true afterthought heel.

Finished the second tube. Ready to work the heels as nd toes in a contrasting color when I return home.

March 9, 2023

Afterthought Heels. Pick up and knit 5 rounds. Decrease each edge every other round until 32 total stitches remain.
Graft with kitcener stitch.

Toes: decrease on first round. Then change to US 0 every other round until 12 stitches. Knit 2 tounds even. 13 rows total. Bind off.

Blocking.

This yarn is fabulous! Feels so good on my feet, and is so pretty.

There will be more socks in Paint Sock!
