Using alternating cable cast on. K1, p1 before joining in the round. No stripes.

Frogging these and starting over. Like the pattern, but my gauge is off and I think I hate bamboo needles. Will start again on my metal 1.5 cubix and see how that works.

Also changing to the German twisted cast on.

I made a couple of dumb, not-reading-the-pattern-with-my-whole-brain mistakes on these, but with the dark, tweedy yarn, no one will ever see that but me, and the socks are just fine and fit great. So I’m happy with them. slightly_smiling_face
