Really enjoying this!
About 10g per set for the last 6 sets. Hoping to have enough for the fringe bind-off.
. Eek! Just enough.
. Thanks to madamepurl’s Project notes for sharing she was getting 10g per set toward the end, plus 6g for her picot bind-off.
. My BO was about 8g
. only 1.7g remaining of a 219g skein!
Fringe CO:
. Using a backward loop as per pattern. Casting mine on with the yarn away from me on the other side of the needle; so the right leg of the loop is to the right like a normal stitch. If that makes sense. I always have to futz around with this.
Blocking
. Soaked for about 20 minutes or so
. Hardly any color in the water - mostly brown
. Laid on in gentle U triangle shape
. KnitBlockers on tips
… and along lace side to open it up
Dimensions - Unblocked
. 17” x 60”
Dimensions - Blocked
. 19” x 82”
Fringe is about 1”
Needles: US 6 as per pattern
. I normally go smaller for fingering weight yarns, but am pleasantly surprised at how well this is working up on the US6.
Yarn Selection:
. Great use for the larger skeins of Keira.
. Skein was more blended at the starting end, appearing lighter; and darker, less blended at the other end.
… This created large spans of pooling at the long end. Kinda cool.
Pattern:
. Been admiring this since it came out. I like the picoted fringe. $6
Designer:
. Not sure she is still active on Ravelry?
. But she is on Instagram
