Making a second pair! This time shorter, without the wrist motif.

And no, I will not sell them. Sorry, but no!

First pair - full length

FLOATS
. I catch mine at a smaller rate - 3 to 4 sts.
. So I won’t catch on 4 sts or smaller. On 5-8 st spans, I’ll catch half way.
. I also have had problems when I tried ‘stacking’ the catches in the same place vertically, so I try to stagger or send them up in a diagonal that flows with the pattern (like up a branch)
. I’m still new to this, so am open to suggestions and learning resources.

WRIST MOD
. Simple omit of the wrist motif
. Same starting ribbing and st st then direct to main chart

FINGER CUFF
. US 2 dpn - simple knit bind-off

THUMBS
. p/u 6 sts + 18 held sts = 24 sts
. knit rest of round
. SSK, k2, K2tog, k up to last st
. (k1, p1) rib for 5 rounds
. US 2 dpn - simple knit bind-off

BLOCKING
. Soaked and laid flat to dry
. No bleeding with this yarn
. Blocking definitely helps the curl on the cuffs, but I wonder if it will return on the hand/finger cuff with wear. I think the thumbs and wrists will be fine.
