I wanted a souvenir to remember my first trip to Iceland and this sweater is the perfect way to commemorate it. I picked up the olive green from my friend Julie’s stash, I used the silver-grey Lopi my friend Allyson brought me back from HER first trip to Iceland and I integrated the rust color from the sweater I wore during my visit. I’m really thrilled with how it all came together. I wanted a shorter body, so I knit for 13 inches instead of the 17 inches the pattern called for.
