3/16/2010 - Started. Already made a mistake. I switched to the larger needles too early… I don’t think it’s really going to matter though…

3/22/10 - Worked about half way through first repeat of the chart. Was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow, but once you set the pattern it totally makes sense.

4/12/10 - Well almost through the second rep of the chart. Getting closer to that first arm hole. Somehow missed one of the more important cable twists in the first rep… going to carry it through the pattern because I am NOT frogging this baby. I think it will look fine, you’ll see what I mean when I update the photos.

5/25/10 - I will be completing my masters degree at the end of this week, which has me happy for many reasons, but one of which is that I FINALLY can get back to work on this project! Been a crazy couple of months, and I miss my knitting….

6/25/10 - Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it’s been an entire month, but I am finally back to my knitting! Started the first arm hole. Not sure why they have you knit each side of the hole separately… I’m just going to tie additional yarn to the one side and knit them both at the same time.

8/1910 - Looking at how long this has been taking me is so depressing! 5 months of cable-ing…yuk.
I did finally let myself knit something else and the GT baby hat came out nice… back to my cable hell… I am half way done with the body.

At least it is turning out very nicely :)

9/11/2010 - Finished the second armhole! In the home stretch now. Just 13 inches of body left to go!!!

11/14/2010 - BODY IS FINISHED Oh my goodness… finally…. sleeves should go quick!

12/17/2010 - DONE.

12/25/2010 - Christmas gifted to my mom. It is a little big on her. This yarn was too stretchy for this project. No going back now! Thinking of ways to make it fit better…
