I have injured my neck, and I need knitting I don’t have to look down at, so i started these! Loving them…

Things I learned:
Although I generally don’t put faces on toys, except for the safety eyes (because it is hard to stitch a face!), these need the nose and mouth to become pups. See bottom photo, where they are just squares with ears. No personality. lol!

After picking up stitches, on the first round, I knit all stitches through the back loop. On the first one, I did not do this, and that first round is too loose for my liking.

I tried to cut corners by knitting the sides together with the flat bottom, to avoid seaming…but these need to be seamed along the sides. On the red and yellow pups, I kitchenered the end of the flat bottom to the short end of the pups, but the sides look best with a good mattress stitch!

Also, I learned that I still love everything about every MochiMochi pattern I have ever knit! Do not hesitate about buying these patterns…they are cute, well written and really easy! I love my Pile-able Pups!
