Cast on 56, 2x2 for 16 rounds.
Knit plain, until color change, then add yo every 4 sts.
Knit leg to about 6”, or 8 stripes.
Heel on 28 sts.
Start toe decreases after 4 rounds of last full color (yellow on sock 1). Decrease to 10+10, Kitchener closed.

Note just for me: Peanut’s foot is now 7.5” long! This sock can easily be stretched to 8”…
