Kinda made this up as I went, using this self-striping yarn, for a bridal shower….here are my notes:

Cast on 81, 1x1 seed 5 rows, maintain 5 stitch seed border, and work the following patt on the center 71…
Row 1: Knit
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8: Purl
Row 3: ^K2, YO, K3, pass 1st stitch over the other two. Repeat from ^, knit any remaining stitches.
Row 5: Knit
Row 7: K1, ^YO, K3, pass 1st stitch over the other two, K2. Repeat from ^, knit any remaining stitches.

Repeat rows 1-8 until you have about a stripe and a half left in your yarn…no, that’s too far…stop when it is long enough! Then, knit 5 rows 1x1 seed, start to bind off…
…change your mind, and decide on an applied i-cord edge…lol! Not a perfect i-cord edge, but i-cord edge just the same!
