CO 66 stitches with the black yarn & did one round of ribbing. Changed to the pink yarn, decreased 6 stitches on one knit round before resuming the ribbing. I had a hard time deciding if the width of the turtleneck was right. It is 18” around on the 60 stitches.

I increased 2 times to 68 stitches & 28” for the hood, this time increasing on every RS row. Knit to 11”, placed marker at 34 stitches, then K2tog one stitch in from the halfway point, each side of the marker 4 times, EOR, back down to 60 stitches.

I was glad I had CO with the black yarn because I had just 32” of the pink left & actually could have made the hood a couple of inches longer. I was going to outline the hood edge with the black yarn, but thinks it looks good as is.
