I started the pattern as instructed but my increases were sloppy, so I started over, casting on 8 stitches.

I increased to 48 stitches, but that was about 4.5” wide. I ripped back to 40 stitches. I decided this yarn was too thick, even though it is pretty & soft. Needs a different project to do it justice.
