Third times the charm!! The first time I started with an acrylic yarn (yuck), took it out and restarted with Berroco but larger needles. Third time used smaller needles and I’m loving it!!

Added checks to bottom and sleeves. Worked garter stitch button band rather than 1 x 1 ribbing. Blocking it today then need to buy buttons.
