The motif looked difficult but it has been so easy -- before joining however, I added another round - with 13 single crochets and 2 half double crochets. That makes it a little more solid - I like the lacey look but feel like the extra row makes it more practical as a blanket.

The instructions were very good - I especially liked the diagram.

I love the outcome. Very fun project. I’m also liking the colors of the yarn -- very nice.
