I did two extra rows of increases for a total of 88 stitches in the rounds throughout the hat. If this was for me, 77 probably would have been sufficient (for my 22.5” head), but I’m making it for a guy I work with, so I figured a little extra would be a good idea. I also added an extra row of plain grey right before the black/grey rows….it probably wasn’t necessary, but after making Acquanetta’s TARDIS hat last year, I knew her style ran pretty small, so I wanted to be safe. And with that extra row, it covers ears completely, and will be a good winter hat. I also omitted the “Camel stitch”, and just did plain ole’ dcs and hdcs throughout the hat (and of course the fpdcs when called for).

Ooootherwise, I kept everything the same ^^;. I used Caron Simply Soft, which adds a nice metallic sheen to it for a realistic Dalek feel, and it’d been awhile since I used it on anything, so it was nice to work with it again. I highly recommend it for this project!
